The holiday season overall makes me super happy, and that’s an understatement.
Whether you’re religious or not, Christmas is such a wonderful time of year! There are many things that Christmas is and every person has their own definitions. It’s also a time to reflect back on 2016 and to pick out the things we’re all so thankful for.
But Sarah, Thanksgiving is over! Why do I need to reflect on what I’m thankful for?
I believe that in addition to the holiday cheer, repetitive but delightful songs, and lots of food, thankfulness is a crucial part and practice everyday but also during Christmas.
For me, this year has been filled with learning curves, celebrations, and reconciled relationships, and I am beyond thankful for all of them.
I’ve lost friendships but also gained new friends. My boyfriend and I have come such a long way in our relationship, especially with the distance. I’m closer to my parents and relatives, and my attitude in the tough situations have improved.
As you can see, there is a bunch of things and people I’m thankful for. So starting this month, I’ll be starting the series, Christmas Is… and in each post, it’ll contain in depth, each of what I think Christmas is.
I hope you enjoy this series, and that it’ll have a positive effect on you, and hopefully, help you through this holiday season, no matter how your life is going at this moment.
Stay tuned and happy holidays! 🙂
